Beginning in September 2010 the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center Survivorship Program, in partnership with the YMCA, will offer another 12-week session of its strength-and-fitness program, Exercise and Thrive, for people who have completed cancer treatment. Read more »
Moving Beyond Cancer to Wellness in an annual event designed for cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, friends, family and health care professionals. The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center Survivorship Program needs volunteers to help at our Power Stop at the LIVESTRONG Challenge! This year’s LIVESTRONG Challenge is on Sunday, June 20. Our Power Stop will be located at Sam Smith Park, located at 1400 Martin Luther King Jr. Way S. Available shifts on June 20 include 6:30 10 a.m., 9:30 a.m. 1 p.m. and 12:30 5 p.m.
Depending on your shift, you may greet cyclists, prepare/hand out food and water, or set up/tear down the Survivorship Power Stop, and you will receive a free T-shirt for volunteering!

Be sure to click on one of the boxes next to “PS-SSP” to register specifically for the Hutchinson Center’s Power Stop in Sam Smith Park.
