Long Term Follow Up Header 2011
Winter 2012 (Vol. 9, No. 1)
The LTFU LifeLinks newsletter is sent quarterly to people who have undergone treatment through Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center's transplant program.

This past summer we celebrated survivorship at our 5+ Year Patient Reunion. Dr. Karen Syrjala, head of our Biobehavioral Sciences program and an expert in survivorship issues, gave the keynote address at the reunion.

This issue of the newsletter features some of the points that Dr. Syrjala made in her talk. We are continuing our work to identify and characterize the many problems and challenges that patients experience after bone marrow or blood cell transplantation. We remain grateful for your continued participation in this endeavor.

Best regards,
Paul Martin, M.D.
Director, Long-Term Follow-Up
