Survivie and Thrive E-Newsletter FHCRC logo 2011Dear friends of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center Survivorship Program,

This edition of "Survive and Thrive" focuses on new research we've done that reveals a myriad of benefits for cancer survivors who participate in community classes focused on strength training. In addition to the camaraderie of exercising with fellow survivors, participants became stronger and gained energy. Read on for more information about how you could benefit from this important aspect of self-care.

If you're struggling to regain your strength, sense of well-being or have other concerns, please contact us. We'd love to help connect you with great resources to help you live your best life after cancer.

Wishing you well,

K. Scott Baker, MD
