We are THE OBLITERATI and this year we will ride #FortheloveofG. George Garner lost his battle on 8/25/16 changing our cycling community forever.
Cancer touches all of us all, and deeply. Our small team has lost more people than our average lives on earth. We are a small team of cycling junkies who have been deeply affected by cancer. Some of us surviors, all of us losing friends and family members to a horrible disease. We hang out at Old Town Bicycle and we just like to ride. When we can ride for a cause we have a little more fun.
Half of all men and one third of all women in the U.S. will get cancer in their lifetime. This year our team will ride in the memories of many people lost and specifically, with the strength of one of our teammates who is in his own fight now. Your donation to our team to find a cure for cancer is appreciated.
Our team will grow this year and ride in August 2017 in order to find a cure. We need your help. We've made big fundraising commitments and are making a statement against cancer. With 100% of every dollar donated going directly to cancer research at Fred Hutch, we can make a direct impact on research to save lives faster. Whose names would you write on the wall of memories or the fighting survivor who changed your life? Please donate today.
