Support the 2012 Miss Greek Pageant
Presented, and originally created, by the Gamma Mu Chapter of Delta Tau Delta fraternity, "Miss Greek" at the University of Washington is one of the nation's largest and most successful college philanthropic programs. Since the pageant's inception in 1986, sorority contestants vying for the crown of "Miss Greek," as well as gentlemen from the fraternity, have raised more than $1.4 million dollars for lifesaving cancer research at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center while supporting the Hutchinson Center's mission to eliminate cancer and related diseases as causes of human suffering and death. Contestants are judged in five categories, including: fundraising; personality/modeling; talent showcase; philanthropic address; and impromptu responses. This year's pageant will be held Sunday, April 22, 2012, 6 p.m., at Meany Hall for the Performing Arts at the University of Washington.
Donations received after midnight on April 19, 2012 will not count towards contestants’ fundraising totals for the Miss Greek Pageant.
